The healing powers of Rimu

This week I was learning to sumemaise. When you summarise you get some of the key information from a website and make it shorter so its easier to read.
I found it challenging to notice the full stops and capital letters so I had to go back in forth a lot.
My digital learning object shows my poster that will soon be on a sign in the healing garden to show people what the plant is and what you can do with it.
On my poster I chose the rimu tree and how you can beat the leaves in to a pulp to make sores go away faster.
Next time I woud make the pencil darker because it is hard to see the text in the image.

Gamefroot

For the past three weeks I have been learning how to code a game using Gamefroot.
I found it challenging to delete a fish I accidentally placed and I didn't know how to get rid of it. I also found it challenging to get the walking code because I had to do a lot of coding and it was a huge mess.
My digital learning object shows a game I made using Gamefroot.
Next ime I will change it because I can't get into the the cave house. If you push the door open it will just hit the wall in front and won't leave a gap big enouigh to get through.
Play my game here
What did you like about my game?
What suggestions do you have for me to improve it other than redoing the cave house?

Measurement

This week I was learning how to measure acurately. I found it challenging to find out where a metre is on my body. My digital learning object shows six different things I measured.

Here are those 6 things I mesured.

How does a plane fly?

This week I was learning to use complex sentences I found it challenging to add complex sentences My digital learning object shows a piece of whriting that shows how planes Next time I would add more complex sentences

How does a plane fly?

A plane is a powered flying vehicle with wings and they fly because the shape of the planes  wings it's shaped like that to optimise the speed on the runway and especially in the air

Firstly  because the shape is  aerodynamic, the air flows under the wing easily and  a very small amount  just flies on by on the top . when the plane has enough air under the wing  the plane  gets very light

Secondly the pilots will put the flaps down to hold more air under the wings so it's very light so light in fact that the whole plane lifts off the runway.

Lastly the plane will stay in the air because the air is denser and also there is a lot more air in the sky than there is on the ground.

so that's how planes fly. I hope you learned something from this.

Sketcking!

The past few week  I have been learning  how to sketch.

I found it challenging to make the fur because it is very hard  to make it look fluffy.

My learning object shows the cat I sketched.

Next time I would change the fur because it was to dark and close together so it looks like a thick black line going around the cat.

Here is my sketched cat.
