Seeing the best in people

In the story I read The Badge Of Honor  I  Explored the value of seeing the best in people.

Isaac didn't want to believe that Thomas was getting himself into trouble, he wanted to think the best of him even when Fai warned him about how he was getting into fights at the park.  We can link this to the story of Jesus sacrifice when the Roman ruler didn't think that Jesus had done wrong when he was arrested for claiming to be the son of God.

Tomasi betrayed Isaac, when he asked him to cover for him when Mrs Latu came to question him about fighting after school in the park.  Judas also betrayed Jesus when he agreed to hand him over to the Jewish Leaders who did not like Jesus.

  1. Hi Baxter, I enjoyed reading your comparison as you made some important links to both stories. It is a great trait to have seeing the best in people and knowing that sometimes people make mistakes. Ka pai, Miss Hickling.
