Slides about Japan.

This week I was learning to skim and scan wich is where you quikly skim through a artacle or a book and scan for all of the juicey facts and stuff so you can get all of your data without spending 30 minutes looking through a book. I Found it chalenging to put all of the facts about food in Japan in one slide. My digital learning object shows a set of 4 slides with 3 diferant thing about Japan. Next time I will change the font that the text is in.

Holy Week

This week I was learning to sumurise in reading and in whriting to retell the story of Easter. with Charlie Sam and Miss Mikayla.

I enjoyed making puppets because we got to cut out and cutting out things is my favroute thing to do!

I found it challenging to fint the perfict height to make the show look good

Next time I would change how fast I was shaking my hand in the start because it was too fast

Easter tradition from around the world!

Here are some Easter tradition from around the world.

In France they make massive omelets.

In Greece they chuck ceramic pots out there windows.

In Poland they spray water on women .

In Finland kids dress up.

 In the Czech Republic men whip women with homemade whips.

Seeing the best in people

In the story I read The Badge Of Honor  I  Explored the value of seeing the best in people.

Isaac didn't want to believe that Thomas was getting himself into trouble, he wanted to think the best of him even when Fai warned him about how he was getting into fights at the park.  We can link this to the story of Jesus sacrifice when the Roman ruler didn't think that Jesus had done wrong when he was arrested for claiming to be the son of God.

Tomasi betrayed Isaac, when he asked him to cover for him when Mrs Latu came to question him about fighting after school in the park.  Judas also betrayed Jesus when he agreed to hand him over to the Jewish Leaders who did not like Jesus.
